How is Your Heart?

Fort Knox. The Vatican Secret Archives. The Iron Mountain facility.

These are just a few of the most secure locations on Earth—designed to guard rare treasures, ancient texts, military secrets, and priceless wealth.

Some vaults are buried underground.
Some are protected by armed guards, biometric scans, and 10-ton doors.
Why? Because people protect what they value most.

Now here’s the real question:

What are you protecting the most?
And is it actually worth guarding?

🧠 A Heart-Level Security Check

Jesus didn’t shy away from this topic. In fact, He said something that flips our idea of “security” on its head:

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy… but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven… For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
— Matthew 6:19–21

The truth is:
We all have vaults.
Some of us protect our image.
Others lock away guilt or sin behind smiles and silence.
And many store their energy, time, and focus in things that don’t last.

But there’s only one treasure that truly matters—and only one vault where it belongs:
A heart surrendered to Jesus.

📦 The Irony of a Locked Heart

People build vaults to feel safe.
But when it comes to God, that same instinct can actually keep Him out.
Revelation 3:20 says Jesus stands at the door and knocks… but He won’t force His way in.

So the question becomes:

Is your heart a vault to protect earthly treasures—or a temple where Jesus is welcome?

🔓 Your Move This Week

  • Open your Bible like it’s your safe deposit box.
  • Ask God: What am I guarding that needs to be surrendered?
  • Remember: the greatest treasure isn’t something you own—it’s Someone who owns you.

Stay vigilant, stay faithful, and keep shining His light! 💡
